CORVETTES AT LAKE TAHOE CAR SHOW

NEW LOCATION:  We’ve moved our car show across the street to the newer, more modern MontBleu Resort.  The car show area will be much closer to the hotel lobby, restaurants, shops and casino.   For more information, please go to www.montbleuresort.com.

 

CELEBRITY GUESTS: 

□     Dick Guldstrand and Bob Bondurant will be here in person.  Saturday morning there will be a special “Meet and Greet” area for you to get their autographs and/or have your picture taken with our celebrities, so bring your cameras. Mr. Bondurant has again graciously donated a two day Z06 driving school valued at over $2600 as a special fund raiser for charity!

 

ACTIVITIES: 

□     An optional escorted run to the National Auto Museum in Reno will be held Friday at10am.  This is approximately a one and a half hour drive from Lake Tahoe.  The $7 entrance fee for the museum is waived for WSCC members so be sure to bring your WSCC membership card for free entry to this very special museum.

 

□     A slot Tournament will be held Friday afternoon from 3pm to 6pm.  The fee to enter the slot tournament is $20.  There will be prizes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.  We think you will enjoy participating in this fun event.

 

□     Our poker run will be a poker walk.  Our “eco-friendly” poker walk will take you to Heavenly Village, just a block away from the MontBleu.  The actual walk won’t take long but we know you will enjoy wandering around the Village while you collect your poker cards.  You may do the poker walk at your leisure anytime between 1pm and 3pm on Saturday, after the car show judging.  This will give you lots of time to shop for souvenirs or perhaps stop for an ice cream cone or maybe an afternoon cocktail.  After all, it will be 5pm somewhere!

 

REGISTRATION:    

□     Last year, almost 90% of the folks pre-registered for the Awards Banquet.  Many who had not pre-registered for the dinner changed their minds at the last minute and wanted to attend but it was too late. MontBleu has larger dinning facilities. Therefore, we are including the Awards Dinner with your registration. The registration fee for 2009 will be the same as last year $160 per couple, that’s $110 plus $50 for 2 dinners, or $135 if you are entering as a single.

 

□     Your registration fee also includes one T-shirt, one dash plaque, one poker hand, two raffle tickets, complimentary fresh coffee and donuts Saturday and Sunday mornings, entrance to our fabulous hospitality room on Friday evening, 4 to 7pm, with complimentary food, beer, wine and sodas and two tickets for both the BBQ lunch and the Awards Dinner. If you are attending as a single, the registration fee is $135 and you receive one of all the above.

 

FOR THE LADIES: 

□     A shopping area of special interest to the ladies will be held in the car show area.  Many fine products will be for sale – custom made scrapbooks, beauty products, purses, jewelry and more!

 

As always, the proceeds from our car show are donated to local charities!
