You've heard of flight simulators? Well, we have a racecourse simulator. Come on, you know you have always wondered what it would feel like to be a race car driver driving the most beautiful car in the world! You can participate in this optional event from the safety and comfort of a car seat facing our video simulator of an actual racecourse.
Experience driving a Corvette around a regulation racecourse as fast as you can handle it. Hear the roar of the crowd . . . well ok, hear the roar of your friends and fellow car show participants cheering you on, but still, it will be an amazing experience! This is your big chance!
Come and sit yourself down in the driver's seat, fasten your seat belt, take the wheel and get ready to start your engine! There will be two types of competition:
1. A timed competition for a solo driver challenging the racecourse on his or her own. It takes
about two to three minutes to complete a lap.
2. A timed couples competition will feature a driver, who will be blindfolded, driving the course while the partner is seated next to him/her giving verbal directions.
The entrance fee for either competition is $10. At the end of each day's race, half of the entrance fees will be divided among the 1st, 2nd and 3rd fastest time trial winners.
The time trials will run two days. . . . Friday, June 24th from 9 am to 1pm for solo drivers only. The time trials on Saturday, June 25th. will be from 9am to noon for solo drivers. The couple's time trials will be held on Saturday between 1pm and 4pm.
