About Lake Tahoe Corvette Club

Lake Tahoe Corvette Club (LTCC) was formed in 1989 by a group of Corvette enthusiasts from the Lake Tahoe and greater Carson Valley area, all of whom shared an interest in an American heritage:  The Chevrolet Corvette.  This was over 30 years ago and we are still going strong with 75 members as of 2021.

We are a social club with a passion for Corvettes.  From March through November we meet on the first Tuesday of every month at a local restaurant in the Carson City area.  Before each meeting most members arrive early to enjoy a social hour and dinner before the meeting begins at 6:30 pm.  In December we have a big Christmas party that is the highlight of our social year.

We strive to have at least one social event per month that we refer to as ‘Drive and Dines’.  They are usually one day events.  We try to find the most scenic routes to interesting and fun places.  In the past we have traveled to various car shows, went on tours of the California wine country, Budweiser plant, Jelly Belly Factory, interesting museums, Gold Mines, historic towns and unique restaurants to name a few.  Sometimes a member will plan an event that requires an overnight stay or longer.  Occasionally we get together to have a potluck and game night.  Once a year the ladies like to have an old fashion Tea Party.  Sorry, no men allowed at this event.

For members who wish to participate, we adopt a deployed soldier and send gift boxes monthly.  In the past we have organized large car shows and hope to do so again as soon as we can find a suitable venue.
